Buttons Bag

I embellished this bag with buttons by hand covering the entire front surface. Every button is different and I think the bright selection of colours is effective.

Ties Lampshade

This lampshade was created using old ties which I removed the lining from to make them thin enough for the light to show through. They were then sewn onto a vintage style lampshade. The lampshade would be more effective on a lamp rather than a ceiling light as the inside of the lampshade is less attreactive and this would not be seen on a table lamp.

Ring Pulls Cup

I upcycled ring pulls by wiring them together to create this pen cup. I like the idea of making something functional out of disused objects and this is the theme for my current University project. I also plan to make a ring pulls plate.

Upcycle Definition: The process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.

Ties Dress

Around 30 ties were used to make this dress inspired by a similar one at Shambala Festival. All of the ties were collected for free and I have now started making a coordinating bag.

Party Rings

These party ring pendants were made from Fimo clay which I sculpted to look identical to the biscuits
